The bills, explanations of benefits, and denial letters you upload; the intake answers you provide about your claim; and the account email address you sign in with. We deliberately do not ask for your Social Security number, date of birth, or insurance member, account, or guarantor numbers - our extraction schemas have no field for them.
This website uses privacy-friendly page analytics (Plausible) that count visits without cookies and without identifying or following you; the app where you handle your documents runs no analytics at all. Emails we send include standard open tracking so we can tell whether they arrive and get read.
What we never do
We do not sell your information. Documents are never used to train machine learning models. With your consent they may be kept in a small internal test corpus used only to measure how accurately BillComb reads paperwork; that corpus never leaves BillComb and is deleted along with your case. Your controls
You can delete a case - and every document and report tied to it - at any time from your account page. Deletion is immediate and irreversible. Original uploaded documents are also deleted automatically 90 days after upload, whether or not you delete the case yourself.
